Joseph Vincent Rullo (b. June 16, 1916 in Manhattan, NYC – d. October 28, 1969 in Philadelphia, PA) was a professional baseball player. He was a second baseman over parts of two seasons (1943–44) with the Philadelphia Athletics. Joe played 51 games in the majors in 1943-44. In his debut year, 1943, he hit .291 with a .381 OBP.
Joe was born in Manhattan, NY and attended high school in Philadelphia, PA. His minor league career stretched from 1939-53. Although he was primarily a second baseman, he played all over the infield, including at pitcher. He managed 6 seasons in the minors, and as player-manager he sometimes inserted himself into games.
He was born in New York City and died in Philadelphia at the age of 53.
